Definitely faster! They have uncluttered by reducing all the redundant screens. It’s down to three. I use it for work and online meetings in Zoom. The camera, speakers and Mike work really well. It paired with my iPhone, HP printer, wireless keyboard and generic headphones easily. The battery last way longer. I only charge it 2 times a week and I use it about three hours a night. I can’t comment on durability because I haven’t dropped it and I keep it in a padded case. But I’m not hard on electronics, I had my other Kindle for six years with no cracks or scratches on the screen.

Fits nicely in your hand, your purse or bag. The battery life is awesome as it holds a charge for several days. Took it with me on a flight and I actually like this better than my iPad when it comes to reading. You can also add more apps like Zoom, STARZ, Netflix, etc. And you can add more storage I caught this on sale but after having it, I would have gladly paid full price
