• Yes...however, if you do not feel comfortable in doing it yourself, you should have the GEEK Squad at Best Buy do it for you. Be sure that it is a new battery, and not a refurbished one.

• Not sure, we bought it for our nephew & haven't given it to him yet, waiting for his birthday. If battery isn't replaceable you'll just have to use it while plugged in
