You can access the Netflix and Disney plus app with the 4k stick, but, you need an actual subscription to view any content on those apps. So, I suggest signing up for those particular apps, netflix or/and Disney before you intend to access these apps.
However, you can still sign up on their respective websites, and access them on your laptop, smartphone, or tablet. You don't need a stick to sign up, but, watching content on your big screen TV makes it even more en enjoyable, via the stick.
Just remember, you must have an active subscription for viewing content on those apps
