- Answer We do recommend rooftop or attic installation to get the best reception, however depending how far the towers are from you and that there is a clear line of sight to the towers our antennas can be installed in other locations. QuestionI have a single-story house--not sure of a clear line-of-sight to antenna--40 miles. Can I determine this myself? Also, what is needed to set up 5 TVs--or is that possible w/o losing clarity. Special splitter? Most important sharp picture on all TVs!

- Answer LimitedKnowledge: I have the Antenna Direct-8-Output HDTV Distribution Amplifier-Copper---Model: CDAB---SKU:6334319. Supports up to 8 TVS with amplifier. I haven't installed it yet, so I don't know how well it works. Best Buy sells it online. I hope this helps you.

- Answer No internet required. Requires a cat cable to hook directly into a splitter or into the tv if you have only one tv to supportI receive ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, FOX, CW, and some others including some shopping channels. I do not receive ESPN but do have some local food channels.

QuestionFor best reception, do you aim it so that the antenna is perpendicular to the direction the signal is coming from or in line with the signal? I cannot adjust antenna and look at signal strength.

- Answer The antenna will receive signals through the front and the back of the antenna elements. I would suggest facing the antenna toward the set of towers in one direction so the antenna can also pick up the signals from the other tower in the opposite direction. Use our free Antenna Point app to help you aim the antenna towards the towers. This will definitely make it easier for you.
