A:AnswerIt’s about 32” tall and 32” wide. Although the description does state it is an indoor/outdoor antenna, the build is more so made for outdoors. It will work great inside your home, but it won’t be the most pleasing aesthetically as long as you don’t mind that.
A:AnswerIt will but the signal is inconsistent. I suspect it will also depend on how far away and the terrain where the back side signal is coming from. I can get a signal from about 38 miles away through some pretty hilly terrain when facing the signal source but when coming from the back side it breaks up.
A:AnswerIf your TV has a coaxial connection, this will work without an adapter. You'll need a coax cable to link them, though. If it requires a UHF/VHF dual wire flat cable, you'll need an adapter.
A:AnswerHi Babita! Our ClearStream 4MAX does require a coaxial cable in order to utilize the antenna. With this particular version you will need to purchase the cable separately. However, Best Buy does sell the version that includes the cable needed, a 3-way splitter to connect to multiple TVs, a 20in mast, and an amplifier for added signal boost. I will attach a link for it below: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/antennas-direct-clearstream-4max-complete-amplified-indoor-outdoor-hdtv-antenna-with-mast-coaxial-cable-amplifier-and-3-way-splitter-black/6452358.p?skuId=6452358. It is the ClearStream 4MAX Complete. If you have any farther questions please contact us by phone at 877-825-5572 or chat with us online at https://www.antennasdirect.com/clearstream-tv-support.html. A:AnswerThe antenna comes with instructions to use an app that helps you identify the channels you have access to and the best location to place the antenna. Might not be next to your dish.
A:AnswerSorry you cannot piggy back or combine 2 antenna the signal will get destroyed as antennas are 70 ohms and when you connect 2 it will drop to 35 ohms and cause 100% signal loss.
A:AnswerHi there! Thank you for your question. Yes, this can be mounted to the side of your home. I will say, I also live in a mobile home and was able to secure mine to our roof with no issues. If you would like tips on how to successfully do this, or need us to walk you through the install on the side of your home, please chat with us online at https://www.antennasdirect.com/clearstream-tv-support.html or by phone at 877-825-5572. A:AnswerNot to state the obvious but in your settings you need to be on Ant (some TV's have 2 Ant options so try both if yours is like this) secondly you would need to go to the scan channels option in your settings menu and that will program the TV to pick up the channels it receives. If you simply just plugged the antenna into the TV and nothing else it won't work. Hope this helps, if you already knew this sorry for wasting your time. Good luck.
A:AnswerNo, the antenna grabs the signal through the air. Once it’s up it’s up, it’s not like old rabbit ears that had to be moved. I’ve had one night where cars messed with the signal but the wind hasn’t at all
A:AnswerYou may need to go online and find a website where you can enter your location and from there it tells you if this antenna is “facing” certain direction, what channels it may pickup. It depends where nearby repeaters or transmitters are located next to you house. You should be able to pickup respectable number of channels.
A:AnswerLine of sight issues perhaps. I have using two different Sony TV models. One mode picks up the a channel with no issues while the other one does not, which is the newest one. I redid the connector at the splitter for the TV which is causing issue, but that did not help. I am thinking of replacing the coax cable from the wall to the TV next, I know I should have not. Perhaps using a so called lossless coax cable.
A:AnswerI asked the same question and was told it's easy to put together and hook up myself, and it was. I planted a fence post in the ground and bought a clamp to connect the pole that comes with it to. Works.
A:AnswerYou could download the "Antenna Point" app and use it to see how far the OTA Transmission Towers are from your location. Then use this app to zero in on pointing your antenna toward them.
A:AnswerI bought my first smart tv. I also bought this because I wanted my local channels. This covers about 70 mile radius and I get all my channels! I’m happy with this purchase. I use it indoors only . It’s kinda big but I don’t care if I get my channels.
A:AnswerAll antennae are designed fro certain frequency ranges. A TV antenna can pick up FM radio since that's within the band of frequencies used by TV broadcasts. AM is too low a frequency, especially if you use an amplifier. NOAA may also be too low.
A:AnswerHi Johni! Thank you for your question. Yes, you should have no problems using the input button on you TV's remote. If an issue does occur, we recommend you refer to the User's Guide that comes along with the TV.
A:AnswerNot sure if Geek Squad installs antennas, but yes, you can use the DISH coaxial cable to hook it up. That's what I did when I got rid of overpriced, unreliable DISH network.
