I purchased this to watch live broadcast of football game while at the beach using my DirectTV app from my IPhone SE. I could see live game on phone but I could only get sound on TV. The DirectTV app mirrored on TV but no video. ???? null

Had same problem. You need to play around with your Bluetooth connection. I also had to hit the tiny icon with the triangle in a box and a pop up shows up for Bluetooth connection choice. Works great, just had to get the hang of it.

I haven't tried it with the DIRECTV app yet. It seems to work fine with Netflix

Sounds like you're having an hdcp issue, streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, directv, HBO now, etc, do not support mirroring.

I use it wish Dish and it works fine. If you have no video, what is the TV or monitor set for. It has to be set for 1920x1080!!

You need the lighting a/v adapter to watch direct tv.
