yes, there are some videos you cannot share, such as anything in the xfinity tv app, however, amazon prime videos, youtube, and internet videos work fine

I use it with my IPad, latest model and it works without a hitch. I watch Netflix on my HDTV, it should work with the Shudder App.

I'm not sure about shudder app, but I understand where you're coming from. I too have the same problem with an app not appering the tv and it's and official app: HULU. Everytime I hook up the wire to my phone the tv screen goes black, but it's still playing on my phone. Maybe certain apps don't work with the wire but its funny how I have problems with HULU and that app is official.

I also have an ipad mini 4, and this seems to work well so far. i have not come across any apps that will not display. i believe this is designed to display whatever is showing on your ipad
