I have done this using a Lightning to HDMI adapter and then just hooking this to the HDMI cable that is the input to the TV. Just make sure you change the settings on the TV for the appropriate HDMI, i.e., HDMI 1 or HDMI 2, if it has more than one HDMI input. Your local Best Buy should have this adapter or you can order online from others.
