Will this work to simply charge an iphone 7plus & plug in headphones to the phone at the same time its charging? null

This device has a lightning output and an hdmi. We connected it to a television with hdmi and plugged the charger into the lightning port. This charged the phone while connected to tv. I don't think headphones will work with the hdmi port

No. The lightning port will be used to plug into the adapter, which will charge the phone while playing video. You won’t be able to use wired headphones. I you have Bluetooth/wireless headphones, it does allow you to listen to streaming content on the tv playing from your phone.

No, it’s a headphone adapter and a hdmi adapter. I thought it charged but I was wrong.
