Yes, this is currently suported by Netflix, Hulu and many others. If it seems to not be working properly, try an Apple Tv and then just airplay your media through that

Hi, I can answer part of your question...I am able to watch Netflix through this device, as well as our WWE app. Once connected, what is on the iPhone screen appears on the TV...haven't explored much more than that...

It’s worked with every app I’ve tried. I don’t have Netflix, but it worked with Amazon, Xfinity, HBO, Showtime and all the “Network” apps
