Please try again later.This adapter has the HDMI output along with a lightning passthrough so you can still charge your device or use another accessory so that might account for the price difference in the other adapter you are looking at. Can't say for sure, since I don't know exactly what the other adapter is. This adapter only outputs a signal so you won't be able to control from the receiving display.
