Yes, I have both an Iphone “X” and an Iphone 7, both work great with the adapter, as far as it working with your car Im not sure, I would think it does because the HDMI adapter works perfect as far as sending a signal so your car input should receive it just fine, hope this helps.

Yes, this should work as long as you are all plugged in with the vehicle in Park. You may also have to check the video settings on your Apple device and/or your Vehicles video settings. Also Make sure you are in the correct output to get it displayed correctly.
