No, it is not compatible with the new iPad 7.

An app for the iPhone or iPad called Mactracker gives to the specks on all Apple devices. I think it’s free. Mactracker lists iPads after iPad 6 but doesn’t call any of them iPad 7. I would assume that your IPad has either a lightning or usbc port. If you bring you iPads cord to the store someone there would let you know which port you would need. The lightning and usbc look very similar!!! So be careful
