I believe I purchase mine with 128 gb. I am not aware of student discounts. I would check with either Apple or Best Buy. They use to offer a military discount and teacher's discount. Also, if you are patient, they do offer a great sale through Best Buy. I purchased my computer, brand new, for $749. While my husband got his one year ago for $799.
