• Yes it comes with iMovie. You can try out Final Cut Pro as well buy downloading the free 30 day trial.

• All new Macs come with iMovie. In my case, it was already installed on the laptop along with other Apple software (Pages, Numbers, Keynote, and GarageBand). I've heard others say they did not have it by default. Not sure why that is - perhaps logging in with an Apple ID during set up is what made it install automatically for me? At any rate, if it's not preinstalled for you, iMovie is free on the Mac App Store.
