• MBA has USB3.0 port, so you can use normal USB flash drive. MB and MBP (after 2016) have USB-C port.

• THe design allows only the C type connection utilizing flash drive technology., which is very expensive.I would recommend the get the adapter lightning port to USB and then you can connect standart USB flash drive.
