What year is this model and is it new or refurbished? null

Hey Bob. The year of the MacBook is the late 2017 model, this is right before the model that removed the thunderbolt 2 port: My Mac was new out of the box. I refuse to have a Mac that someone else had prior. It’s definitely a good deal.
