Yes. The manufacturer's warranty comes with it. You can buy AppleCare if you like. This will extend it and make any support calls you make to Apple a priority. I recommend it highly. Particularly if you have kids or pets. But you don't have to get AppleCare right away. You can purchase it later so long as it's within 60 days of your initial purchase.
