Is this the 2018 or 2019 model? Is it the one with the severe thermal throttling issues? null

It is the 2018 version which I didn’t know upon purchase since the online description doesn’t say that. Supposedly, Apple fixed the thermal throttling with an update to High Sierra. I have had my laptop near a month and I’ve done lightroom, Photoshop, and edited an hour long movie on top of normal use, all with no throttle issues. All in all, I’m very satisfied with the purchase and would recommend.

2018 MBP and yes has throttling issues. Even with the patch I noticed throttling and MBP would tend to overheat even when not doing anything excessive, such as watching YouTube videos. I could of just had a bad copy. Returned 2018 model and recently bought a 2019.
