• The watch will connect to your phone via Bluetooth. It’s easy to pair it and you font need to buy or change anything. Just make sure your iPhone is compatible.

• You can answer calls and texts on your Apple Watch with GPS only option as long as the phone is relatively close(in your purse or the room). I think mine has picked up calls at least 25-30 feet maybe more if you are on wifi.
