This worked fine on mine. No problems at all. Bill
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have a Samsung branded PCie NVMe, then you do not need this garbage. I upgraded my son's Alienware Gaming Core i9 laptop with the Samsung downloadable cloning software with no problem. But if you are using other brandef PCie NVMe, then just do a Windows disc image creation first and make sure you create a Recovery boot up disc as well for the specific computer. The Windows recovery procedure got a better chance working than this software. Anyway, you will be doing a cloning procedure so you still will have the original drive just in case. I bought a 1tb Toshiba SSD for another laptop I was upgrading and this software cannot even recognize the SSD connected with the USB cable that came with this product. So, the saving I got for the Toshiba SSD was wasted on this item. I upgraded 6 computers using 4 Samsung SSDs, 1 Samsung PCIe NVMe and 1 Toshiba SSD. The only problem I got was using this product on the Toshiba SSD that does not come with a cloning software. I was able to use the Toshiba SSD using Windows recovery with the disk image I created in 2017. BEWARE!! This item is a software that you cannot return once packaging was opened.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought the item to migrate my laptops to SSD. I usually buy Samsung SSDs that come with downloadable cloning software but I recently tried a Toshiba SSD. I think that it does not work for UEFI format hard drive. Unfortunately, it is not returnable because Best Buy do not accept returns for items that comes with a software. I just used the restore process using an image that I created. Just make sure that you have created a bootable recovery disk for the specific computer. If you bought a Samsung brand SSD, Then just download the cloning software and you have a greater chance that it will work. My son upgraded his Gaming Laptop to a higher capacity NVMe (256 GB to 1 TB) and he had no problem using Samsung cloning software on the Samsung branded NVMe stick.
