Yes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but you might need to use different cloning software. I cloned Windows Vista to an SSD. I downloaded Apricorn EZ-gig, and the software did appear to function, but when I swapped the new SSD drive to replace the old HDD, there was no operating system found. The solution for me was to use Macrium Reflect software. Then I got Vista booted and proceeded to update to Windows 7. If you are using Windows 10 or 8 you might be OK. Check youtube for videos about cloning to SSD Macrium and Apricorn.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but remember -- (a) use the Apricorn Data Transfer software and (b) recall that this cable will only work with a 2.5" laptop-style hard drive (Winchester or SSD). It will not work with standard 3.5" desktop hard drive connected to it (because the cable does not provide power to these larger drives).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work, I have done it to replace my 500gig HDD to 1000gig SSD. It working well
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on the type of HDD, you may experience issues if you are cloning from a PATA to an SSD the OS may not boot on SSD. However, If you are cloning a regular SATA drive to SSD then yes it will work. This is suitable for replacing laptop hard drives with SSD's same situation will work for Desktop computers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to the instructions will work on SATA laptop sized drives, but not on full size desktop drives. I've never tried it another way..
