• This wouldn"t work without you signing up with your isp. You wouldn"t get billed for connecting it but you wouldn"t be able to do anything on the web. Sounds like you are looking for an Extender or Router for your current service good luck.

• Each modem must be entered into the providers authorization list of devices. It will not be able to talk to their routers at all, and will have no service.

• You won't be able to get it to work unless your ISP activates it. To have a second modem you need a second line of service.
