The laptop doesn't have a 5.0ghz radio in the WiFi card built in. That's pretty common in lower cost machines. However, if this is a MUST feature, you may always buy an expensive low-profile USB WiFi card that has a 5.0Ghz radio. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You will need duel band router or better that has or support 2.4hz and 5.0hz. Currently any dos3 model are good. In the router settings you can select 5.0hz broadcast setting.
