The battery is internal you cant disconnect it. You simply unscrew all the screws on the bottom and get the top lose (keyboard). Do not lift it up more than about few inches. Use a small screw driver to unscrew the HDD housing and take it out and replace it with SSD. I used Apricon software and cable to clone the HDD to SDD. Everything worked flawlessly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Anytime you are replacing a component inside of a computer you should make sure it is unplugged and in the case of a laptop the battery should also be removed. Electrostatic protection is a good idea.
