“The 3840 x 2160 display has me frustrated, some programs are too small to read, I have it scaled to 250% but apps like Adobe Bridge and some other programs are too small, is there something I can do to prevent this?”

In windows 10 if you got to the settings you can change the screen resolution to your liking.

So far the only solutions I found were to lower the display resolution (which ruins the point of a 4k display) or sometimes if you keep opening and closing a window it will automatically resize itself. Not sure exactly how the later works.
