Dear chaz, The approximate battery life of this unit is about five hours, give or take 25 min. The reason it is shorter as compared to 8.5 and 10 hr battery lives is because of the resolution of the screen. The 4k draws a lot of power. However, the user expirence is way better. You can lean in and get right up next to the screen and still there is no pixellation! Drawing with a bamboo ink stylus is a whole new world, and I would 100% recommend the product. The MacBook pro can't even beat the specs at 4 times the price.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't use it for gaming and the battery life has been decent. 4-5 in general when using constantly. CAD software isn't extremely high demand so you should get about the same. I'm a heavy ms office/Internet user so you should expect 4-5 also.
