My wife and I own 2 of the ASUS Q534UX-BI7T22 notebook laptops and did not experience the problem that you are having with the touch screen. We have owned these about 2 months and they function beautifully straight out of the box. We did not have to do anything to set up the touch screen. Suggest that you return and get another. The only thing that we have encountered is that the face recognition does not work most of the time and we have to put in our pin# to start up.
