“suggestions needed for good modem to go with Asus RT-AC1900U router, for DSL line( 20 mb download speed), which maybe soon becomes VDSL2. Didn't realize there was no modem installed when I bought it - DUH!! Are VDSL2 modems suitable for DSL?”

• Check with your provider for a list of known compatible modems. You can’t go wrong then.

• Thanks Phred - but the reason I was asking, is to get away from the ISP provider's modem. Am confident others will work fine, as until my line speed was upgraded to VDSL2, and I had to get the ISP providers modem-router, I was using Netgear router-modems
