“Can someone tell me as far as in a gaming capacity, how does this laptop compare with the Q534? My son wants one but is only 12 so I'm leary to spend so much on the 'better' model. Thanks”

I bought this laptop with the soul purpose of light gaming and college. I can tell you this, it is a fantastic LIGHT gaming computer. I play small graphic games such as gmod, block N Load and the bit more graphic requiring game No Mans Sky. I have no problem what so ever with the small games, but I keep the bigger games on Medium to Low quality. If you are dishing out the money on your son for the purpose of gaming, you will have better luck with Alienware Laptops. They are built and designed for gaming. You can find a wide variety of this brand for this price. If he is okay with light gaming and you need him to use the laptop for schoolwork as well, this is a fantastic laptop. Otherwise look for a laptop or even desktop designed for gaming.

Please try again later.I play overwatch, left4dead, and warthunder. and the laptop handles these games pretty nicely in low- medium settings. the only problem arises if you have multiple apps running in the background which might lag he games for a few seconds, but it will catch up.
