Mine is super quiet under normal web surfing, watching YouTube, or word processing. At these time the laptop runs cool (typically around 45 Celsius). The only time my fans kick in is when gaming, and they are loud but not overbearing, in my opinion. (The top of the keyboard gets uncomfortably warm/hot in the area between the screen and the top of the keyboard (running around 80-85 Celsius under heavy loads).
