A:AnswerI contacted Asus support before asking the question here. They have redirected me to BestBuy and GeekSquad. Either this laptop was registered by GeekSquad team or a user that had this laptop before me, maybe it was an openbox, I don't know?!
And of course I need Internet to register it, how would I think of registering it without Internet, and YES, all the Asus Utilities are up to date. Yet I still can't register it. Cause it says clearly that it is already registered !!!!!!!
A:AnswerI got mine open box for $880 a couple weeks ago. It just depends on the quality of the returned or open box unit. Higher quality that's near perfect will cost more. Mine was only "satisfactory," hence the lower $880 price.
