Yes it will void warranty. That was made clear to me when I purchase mine. Wait the one year, or, just take the chance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just bought the same machine and was going to upgrade the memory and video card. If you do anything to remove the cover to the inside, it automatically voids the warranty. I may upgrade mine anyway, as I know enough about the parts to replace them if something is wrong. I haven't made up my mind yet, but again, if you do take the cover off it rips the warranty sticker on the cover and voids the warranty. I also couldn't find what the power supply is and contacted Asus. The power supply, they told me, is PSU PEAK 350W NON_PFC. Other than that, I really like the machine. SSD is great and I do installs on the other drive and just use the SSD for windows so it runs quick and doesn't get loaded down with other programs. Hope this helps........
