Will this work in my 1998 F150 null

Of course. Most vehicles after 95 have an OBD2 port, which is what it plugs into. If your vehicle is older than that, there might be an adapter for the OBD1, but im not certain, thats a Q for a wiring expert or an Automatic rep.
