A:AnswerIf i buy a tv while i have total tech, i get a total tech warranty not geek squad. If i do not renew total tech i lose my protection on the tv. I do not have the option to buy the normal 5 year geek squad warranty. A five year geek squad warranty averages about $250 on a tv. Five years of total tech is $1000. I have an issue with this.
A:AnswerI rather pay the price than the headaches and time consuming trying to fix it myself or buy a new product that will cost a lot more. My opinion only.

Plain and simple

A:AnswerThe item must be purchased under the account with TotalTech. If another family member purchases it then it does not apply. However, if, for example, a family bought it on their own account or as a guest for you as a gift, you should visit customer support in the store - there are ways to deal with that.
A:AnswerNo. Totaltech only includes Geek Squad Protection (and Apple Care for Apple devices) on purchases moving forward from the date of purchase of your membership and continues for up to 24 months if you renew.
