• I wouldn't use on anything porous unless sealed.

• We use ours on wood in the living room and hall, straight onto the travertine tiles in the kitchen and bathroom, the tile doesn't get shinny like the wood

• Well I use it on unsealed wood floors. It dries rather quickly.

• Steam will not hurt your travertine but if you are adding a cleaning product make sure it is ph neutral.
