It comes with several attachments for cleaning tough spots and upholstery. The pads are washable heavy cloth and easy on/off.

There are two types of pads - a smooth pad for laminate floors and pad with scrubby inserts for tile floors. The unit has a removable tank with a hose to use with several attachments included in the set. All very useful and versatile, including general purpose round brushes for scrubbing around faucet fixtures and other areas, a grout scrubbing brush, a small pad to clean counter tops or cabinet surfaces, and a small nozzle to clean tight spaces. Included with the set is a nice storage bag for the attachments and the hose.
