QuestionIf I Mount this at the top of my house which maybe 40 ft or higher from the ground, would the motion detector still be tripped when someone comes in view of it? Or do I need to mount it lower to the ground?

- Answer yes 40ft is within it's capability. however you will need to buy a subscription plan in order to enable any motion/video recording otw you will get a motion notification but no associated video after the free 30 day subscription ends. buyer beware of this little mentioned fact.

- Answer I've had my first 3 cameras about 14 months and they seem to be going well. You have to buy a subscription plan for this system to be useful, just be aware of that.

- Answer yes i did that. be aware that for the new cameras you will need to buy a subscription plan to have motion or video recordings. the xt2 models prior to april 2020 came with a free cloud plan but after that requires a plan to be purchased, about $100 a year for up to 5 cameras last i checked.

- Answer you should be able to add them just logging in to app and selecting add cameras and then just scan the qr code it should work.
