• A:Answer This mini camera requires power from a standard (US) wall outlet. The "wireless" is how the camera connects to your Sync Module for recording. The Sync Module 2 (purchased separately with this mini) can connect to up to 10 cameras. This allows you to put your SM2 in a central location to all your cameras (within 100 feet) without having to run wires to every camera from the SM2. Hope that helps.
