• Well, there are two filters essentially: what they call a "pre-filter" and the real filter underneath. The pre-filter is a stretchy cover that goes over the true filter. Not entirely sure what its purpose is, but these pre-filter covers are washable/reusable. But the filters themselves are not reusable and will need replacing about every 6 months or so.
