- Answer No, and you do not want to run an Ozone generating machine in your house. Despite what some say, Ozone in a closed environment like a house is bad for you. This item is simply an airborne particulate air cleaner.

QuestionDoes this air purifier also remove viruses? Before I purchased it I read that it does remove viruses but the box just arrived yesterday and it doesn’t mention anything about viruses. It mentions it can remove bacteria, mold, dust mites. Please help.

- Answer It is designed to remove the bulk of typical air pollutants (which happens to be around the 2.5 micron) not viruses.

- Answer The unit's filter will be less dense than a standard HEPA filter, but it will still capture up to 99% of all particle that pass through it. (For anything to be technically HEPA, it has to hit 60% efficiency). Because of the density of the filter, it will give you HEPA performance without the label.

- Answer The Blue Pure 411 uses the same technology and the same filter medium as the larger 211+ unit does. It will just as effective, but it is made for a smaller recommended square footage.

- Answer Yes, the product comes with both a black, and blue fabric pre-filter which covers/colors the bottom half of the unit. This pre-filter is washable, and swappable, to the desired color.

- Answer No they do not have UVC sterilization lights. The product page should tell you all you need to know. These are basic but very good air cleaners for smoke, pollen, dust, and other airborne particle contaminants.

- Answer After 5 months of continual use, your filter light will turn yellow. This indicates that it will be time for your filter change in one month, and it is time to order a new filter. After 6 months of continual use, your filter light will then turn from yellow to red indicating it is time to change the filter. Turn on the unit and press and hold the main button for 10-45 seconds until the light disappears.

- Answer THE BLUE PURE 411 AIR PURIFIER, IS THE BEST TO BUY. I was skeptical about buying the blue but then when I bought it and put it in my home I found out it is the best purifier that I have ever purchased me and my wife we use it everyday every night we don't even cough anymore so I will recommend to buy this blue or 11 air purifier because it is the best purchase ever! Ps it also cleans the air Mode and dust mites and everything that it does on and says on the box it cleans everything and it's fantastic thanks best buy.You have too get it because it is the best and we are buying another one, my other purifier doesn't do what the blue does. If you want clean air get the blue, you see for your self.

- Answer Thank you for your interest in the 411. OUr units capture mold and do not produce mold as they are purifiers and not humidifiers. There is not a humidifying option on any of our units.
