“Does this air purifier also remove viruses? Before I purchased it I read that it does remove viruses but the box just arrived yesterday and it doesn’t mention anything about viruses. It mentions it can remove bacteria, mold, dust mites. Please help.”

It is designed to remove the bulk of typical air pollutants (which happens to be around the 2.5 micron) not viruses.
