The unit's filter will be less dense than a standard HEPA filter, but it will still capture up to 99% of all particle that pass through it. (For anything to be technically HEPA, it has to hit 60% efficiency). Because of the density of the filter, it will give you HEPA performance without the label.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. I'm not sure what HEPA type is, but to work like a HEPA filter, it would have to remove at least 99.97% of airborn particles that are 0.3 microns ( according to the EPA, https://www.epa.gov/indoor-air-quality-iaq/what-hepa-filter-1)
