Thank you for your interest in Blueair. We recommend changing the filters every 6 months and a filter timer will notify you once time has lapsed. Our units are designed to run continuously at low power consumption.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are two filters: main filter and the prefilter (sleeve that goes on the outside). The main filter should be changed every 6 months or when the red light appears. It depends on the operating conditions. I change the prefilter every month with the device operating 24/7 in our bedroom. I have not changed the main filter yet as I just bought it in Nov. 2020.
