The phone is an updated version of the 2015 model. When purchasing cases, buy a case for the 2015 model.
I was confused as well but this is a J7 2015 and J7 2016 version and the difference in on the back. By looking at the camera, 2015 has three small line, also on the side you will find that on there is only one large push button where on the 2016 there are two.
Depends if you are reading this in 2016. if so, it is really the 2016 model. When you go into the store or buy online, look at the fine print on the box. the 2015 will not say 2016 next to the copyright printing.
it is the usa 2016 version. there is an international 2016 version which is smaller.
When you buy it, look on the box for the year. if it says, 2016 Samsung, then its likely not the 2015 model. If you buy online and have it shipped, check it when it arrives....
