• Hello Joyce, thank you for your question. I'm glad to help. As some others have mentioned, the SoundSport Free wireless headphones can be charged with the case closed. You will see 5 solid LED lights on the front of the case when the case is fully charged. (They will blink during charging, with 1 light gradually increasing to 5). Inside the case, you will see 1 solid LED light next to each earbud when the earbuds themselves have fully charged. These lights will blink while the earbuds are charging. Enjoy your music! • I charge mine once or twice a week with the case closed. As the charge builds more lights will glow. hope this helps
