Hi Bob, thanks for the great question! The SoundSport Free wireless headphones take calls in the right earpiece. If you prefer to hear calls in both ears, we recommend the SoundSport Wireless headphones which are also Bluetooth and have a short cable that connects the earpieces around the back of your neck. Nope. Bose designed them to only be in one ear on purpose. I wish it was in both ears too,

No just the right ear can take phone calls. Which leads me to believe since the price drop a new model maybe on the horizon. But really not a big deal because the battery life on these are way better by a couple of hours than my air pods by apple.
