• You can try the Bluetooth speaker from Bose excellent sound, portable, and costs less. If that's still too much I'm afraid other companies will only disappoint you. No matter how much people say to you that this company or that sounds like Bose let your ears be the judge. I'd say save up for at least the Bluetooth speaker it'll be worth the wait in the end.

• The Sonos sounds great, but think it is completely wireless so it works on Wi-Fi only, no cabled option.
