You have to connect it to a phone initially for setup but you can set up to 6 presets that do not require a phone to use (only internet). You can use internet radio (most radio stations have an internet version) for these presets.

Hi, Thanks for the question. The Soundtouch 20 has the ability to hold up to 6 preset internet radio stations. It isn't equipped with an FM/AM antenna. Have a great day!
