I have a SoundTouch 10 and a 20. I love the multi room sync. I do not notice any echo if done through the app where you tell it multiple speakers. If you just individually set both to the same Chanel there is the echo you talk about. Using the app and using the sync feature no lag, echo at all.

We have the 300, 30 and a 20 linked together and it seems to be fine. The latency was my concern too, but it not anymore. Jam on.
